{"id":3338,"date":"2014-06-11T10:28:45","date_gmt":"2014-06-11T10:28:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.retired-openroad.us\/?p=3338"},"modified":"2014-06-11T10:28:45","modified_gmt":"2014-06-11T10:28:45","slug":"springtime-in-the-northeast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.retired-openroad.us\/?p=3338","title":{"rendered":"Springtime in the Northeast"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When we visited the site of the &#8220;North Bridge&#8221; where the &#8220;Shot Heard Round the World&#8221; happened (the start of the Revolutionary War) I was pleasantly surprised to find a beatiful garden on the grounds of the Park Service building.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s nice to finally be in spring time and it&#8217;s beautiful all over in the northeast part of the country. \u00a0I&#8217;ve noticed that there&#8217;s more use of color in people&#8217;s front yards than I ever saw in So. California. \u00a0There are colorful flowering bushes and plants everywhere!<\/p>\n<p>Here are some pictures of the garden at the park:<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-3338
