When we got together with Jeff’s friend from college we went to a cajun restuarant, Pappadeaux’s Seafood Kitchen. It’s a real nice restaurant and Jeff felt the Shrimp Creole was doing really well. Lynne and I both had the “skinny salmon” (no sauce) – YUMMY!

While in Jacksonville we decided to try and find some persian food as we hadn’t had any for quite a while. We found a small restaurant near downtown Jacksonville called Green Erth Bistro, which has persian food and several vegan dishes as well. We liked it a lot!! We couldn’t find an RV park near or on the keys that would take our dog, so our trip to the Florida Keys was driving down to it and staying in a motel in Florida City, the last town before you get to the keys. I wanted a seafood dinner so we went to a place just across the street from our motel. I wasn’t real impressed with my dinner, Tilapia Tropical. The portion was large but the fish was smothered in a pineapple/mango salsa and it made the fish soggy and overpowered the taste of the fish. While staying in Bushnell, FL we decided to try a local Mexican restaurant that had been recommended to us – Coyote Rojo. The outside of the place doesn’t look like much, but the large number of cars in the parking lot confirmed that this was a good place to eat. It was!! Delicious food!!

We saw a great Thai restaurant here in Panama City Beach and decided to try it. We both were very happy! We were surprised to find that they had as much Japanese food and sushi as Thai food.

I ate at this restaurant near the courthouse in Vista a couple time while in Vista visiting family. I think it’s the best place for Thai food I’ve ever gone to. Yum!

We saw a little sign near the grocery store in Morgan Hill advertising Persian food. Yum! We decided to stop by. It’s really a small bakery owned by a Persian family, and they have a few food dishes. We had dinner one night while at Klamath and went to a local place called the “Forest Café”. I didn’t read the reviews on this restaurant before we went, and I wish I had. Most were not very good, and mine added to the not very good category. Blah!
